 Children's Ministry

Ignite

Restarts Wednesday, September 7th!

Join us for our midweek children's programming for children 2 years old thru 5th grade.  We meet from 6:30 to 8:00 pm every Wednesday from October thru April for worship, dramas, Bible stories, lessons about virtues, small groups, games and many different fun activities. 

We invite you to join us for this time of fun!  We can't wait to see you there.  Please feel free to contact DCC if you have any questions.

 Sundays 
Nursery

We offer nursery services during both our 9:00 am and 10:45 am services each Sunday.  Our nursery area is staffed with adults who will care for and love your little one.  We offer time to let your little one explore, play and start building relationships with other children, as well as with the adults who are caring for them.

Sunday School

We offer a weekly Sunday School class for children from ages 2 years through 5th grade during our 9:00 am church hour.  Our aim in Sunday School is to build our children's biblical knowledge through Bible stories and interactive activities.  Currently we are using Bible story videos and fun activities. 

We do also provide a staffed nursery during the 9:00 am church hour for babies aged birth until 2 years old. 

Children's Church and Junior Church

During our 10:45 am church service we offer two children's programs, Children's Church and Junior Church.

Children's Church is aimed at our toddlers and preschoolers, ages 2 years thru kindergarten.  During this time these little ones learn Bible stories, Bible verses, ways to live out what they learn as well as participate in many hands on activities, including crafts and sensory experiences.  There is also time to play and have fun with their friends in our brightly colored and toy filled classroom.

Junior Church is for our elementary children (1st thru 5th/6th grade).  These kids start out in the auditorium with the adults and participate in worship thru singing and communion before they breakoff.  Their teaching time is focused on applying what they've learned in the Bible to their every day lives.

A staffed nursery is also available during the 10:45 am church service for children aged birth until 2 years old.
